What is UX design?
The term UX was first used in the 1990s by David Norman. He believed in the importance of creating designs based on the needs and goals of the end user.
UX means user experience. The term refers to the overall experience users have while interacting with a product.
User experience design (UXD) refers to all the processes involved in creating satisfactory experiences for the human user. It focuses on usability, quality and efficiency in other to create user friendly interfaces.
UX design studies user behavior and endeavors to create products that meet the needs and goals of the user.
A product can be termed as having bad UX when users feel intimidated and frustrated about the product and are unable to complete tasks.
Good UX on the other hand,leaves users satisfied and happy. A user doesn't have to think so hard about how to interact with a product.
